There was a time when I felt lost, anxious, and disconnected from the world around me. I kept a lot to myself because I didn't think anyone would understand what I was going through. The more I kept inside, the more alone I felt.

What eventually changed everything was realizing I wasn't the only one.

The conversations I started having with friends showed me something important: so many people are carrying their own battles, doubts, fears, and insecurities. Most of us are walking around trying to figure things out while pretending we already have.

That's where Misunderstood was born.
